Job Description
Position Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Project Manager to lead complex avionics and embedded systems development programs for aerospace customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background managing engineering projects involving avionics, embedded systems, DO-178, and/or DO-254 environments, while serving as a key interface to customers and internal leadership teams.
This role requires an individual who can operate independently, manage multiple stakeholders, drive program execution, and effectively support frequent customer interactions. Local candidates are strongly preferred due to the high level of onsite collaboration and customer meetings.
Location: The role can be onsite (CT) or hybrid.

Qualifications
Bachelor''s degree in Business, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, or related discipline.
12+ years industry experience with 7+ years experience in formal leadership roles.
Background in avionics and embedded systems development or equivalent industry.
Strong understanding of:
Earned Value Management (EVM)
Agile/Scrum
Agile Product Owner expectations
Agile/Scrum Master expectations
Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills.
Demonstrated ability to lead projects with minimal technical and managerial support.
Experience coordinating cross-functional engineering teams.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
U.S. citizenship is required. Dual citizenship should be disclosed.
Able to travel approximately six to eight weeks in a year.
