Job DetailsWe are currently seeking a Project Manager with a strong background in electrical construction to join our clients team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects valued from $500K to $10 million. This role is perfect for someone who has a solid understanding of electrical construction methods, drawings, and specifications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing project budgets, schedules, and subcontractors, reviewing drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, and change orders, and managing electrical construction projects from start to finish.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the full life cycle of electrical construction projects, from initiation to completion.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and forecasts.
- Coordinate with owners, general contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and field teams to ensure smooth project progression.
- Review and analyze project drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
- Monitor project costs, productivity, and overall financial performance to ensure projects are completed within budget.
- Ensure all projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within the agreed budget.
- Proactively identify and mitigate potential project risks and implement appropriate solutions.
- Foster positive relationships with all stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and understanding of project status and expectations.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in project management within the electrical construction industry.
- Proven experience managing project values ranging from $500K to $10 million.
- Strong understanding of electrical construction methods, drawings, and specifications.
- Solid experience in managing project budgets, schedules, and subcontractors.
- Proficient in reviewing drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
- Demonstrated ability to manage electrical construction projects from start to finish.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with all levels of staff and stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate potential project risks.
- Proficient in using project management software and tools.
