We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of electrical substation construction projects supporting a major mission -critical data center development in Northern Indiana. This role will oversee all aspects of substation design coordination, construction, commissioning, and turnover, ensuring safe, reliable, and on -schedule delivery of high -voltage infrastructure.<\/span>
<\/p>

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in electrical utility or substation projects and the ability to manage complex technical scopes, multiple stakeholders, and high -value infrastructure installations in fast -paced construction environments.<\/span>

Responsibilities<\/span>
<\/h2>
  • Manage full project lifecycle for electrical substation construction from preconstruction through commissioning and closeout<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Oversee planning, scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and execution of substation scopes<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Coordinate with utilities, engineers, EPC contractors, and construction teams<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Manage high -voltage equipment installation including transformers, switchgear, breakers, protection systems, and associated infrastructure<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Oversee civil, structural, and electrical interface scopes within the substation footprint<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Ensure compliance with utility standards, electrical codes, and safety requirements<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Lead project meetings and provide regular reporting to stakeholders and client representatives<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and contract administration<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Support commissioning, testing, energization, and system startup activities<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to maintain schedule and budget performance<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Coordinate closely with data center power requirements and utility interconnection teams<\/span>

    Qualifications<\/span>
    <\/h2>
    • 5–10+ years of experience in electrical construction or utility infrastructure projects<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Strong experience with electrical substations, transmission, or distribution systems<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Knowledge of high -voltage systems, protection & control, and power distribution infrastructure<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Experience managing EPC contractors, utility companies, and multidisciplinary project teams<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Strong understanding of construction scheduling, cost control, and project management principles<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Familiarity with commissioning and energization processes for substation projects<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred<\/span>

      Candidates may come from utility companies, EPC contractors, electrical contractors, or infrastructure firms delivering high -voltage transmission and substation projects.<\/span>
