Project Manager

Midlake Builders is one of Northern Michigan's premier custom home building and remodeling companies. We have been a consistent presence in the market for over 30 years. Our company is seeking a Project Manager/Estimator to join our team. We are looking for people with experience, great work ethic, strong teamwork qualities and take a high level of pride in their workmanship.Job Summary: This position will primarily be focused on Project Management with occasional Estimating duties. Coordinate with Clients, Designers, Architects and Engineers. Coordinate, support and manage Midlake Builders self-perform craftsman. Coordinate and manage subcontractor work and project suppliers. Manage all parties involved in projects as needed to ensure efficient workflows, excellent quality and that a high level of cost control is maintained at all times.RequirementsBachelor's degree in construction management and/or relevant work experience.Minimum of two years experience in Project Management.Minimum of one year experience in Estimating.Basic understanding of relevant building codesAbility to read and understand blueprintsAble to manage multiple projects concurrently.Excellent understanding of construction procedures, materials, basic project management and estimating principles.Familiarity with applicable quality, health and safety standards.Excellent communication skills.Reliable transportationGood working knowledge of Microsoft Office and pdf editing programsProficient in using electrical, manual equipment and measurement tools (powered saws, hammers, rulers etc.)Ability to work both independently and in a team setting.Reliable and punctualWork Schedule: Full time: Monday-Thursday, 7:30 am - 4:30 pm.
