Project Manager Engineer
\nJOB SUMMARY
\nThe position is broadly responsible for the development and implementation of engineered industrial gas application solutions for customers in the Food Processing, Metals, Glass, Manufacturing, Chemical, Pharmaceutical, Water Treatment and other industries, including: project management, design and engineering, estimating, planning, supervision of fabrication, installation, commissioning, and post installation support.
\nEssential Functions
\nDevelop conceptual design, cost estimate, and project schedule
\nPerform necessary design and engineering of new projects, equipment and systems
\nPrepare comprehensive technical proposals
\nDevelop and maintain process and flow diagrams, P&ID, assembly and detailed drawings, Bill of Materials, instrumentation lists, and equipment IOM Manuals
\nDevelop purchase orders for equipment and fabrication services
\nManage equipment fabrication and project budget
\nPerform factory and site checkout, QC, HAZOP, EMOC as required
\nManage and physically participate in equipment and systems installation and startup
\nProviding post-installation troubleshooting and technical support
\nRequired for All Jobs
\nPerforms other duties as assigned

\nQUALIFICATIONS
\nEducation
\nBachelor's Degree in Mechanical, chemical, or electrical engineering is required
\nWork Experience
\n10+ years Experienced hands-on project manager with excellent engineering, AutoCAD, technical writing, and communication skills is required
\nKnowledge, Skills and Abilities
\nUnderstand customer’s specific application and process requirements
\nExperienced hands-on project manager with excellent AutoCAD, technical writing, and communication skills.
\nIndustrial gases industry experience with a preference for experience in oxidizing, inerting, combustion processes, noble, and cryogenic gases, and high pressure applications. Understanding and familiarity with PLC/SCADA programming and electrical control systems helpful.
\nWorking knowledge of motors, blowers, pumps, and compressors
\nFamiliarity with NEC, CGA, ASM and NFPA standards
\nGood technical writing skills.
