About the Role NGi is seeking a motivated and experienced Project Manager/Estimator - ACT (Acoustical Ceiling Tile) to join our Ceiling Division in Concord, CA. This full-time role is responsible for managing projects through all stages - from early budgeting and estimating to project completion and closeout. The successful candidate will play a key role in identifying new opportunities, developing proposals, managing awarded projects, and ensuring cost accuracy and schedule performance. This is a great opportunity for a professional who enjoys both the technical and relationship aspects of construction management and estimating. Key Responsibilities

Manage the full project life cycle for ceiling division projects-from bidding through closeout Review and interpret plans, drawings, and specifications to prepare accurate and competitive estimates Review contract conditions and ensure team compliance with all terms Negotiate cost-effective subcontract and material purchases Coordinate submittals, shop drawings, and procurement with internal teams and external partners Track labor, material, and subcontractor costs, and forecast project performance Lead and facilitate project meetings with clients, architects, and subcontractors Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, vendors, and project stakeholders Monitor project schedules, manpower, and materials to ensure timely and efficient delivery Identify and mitigate risks throughout project execution Mentor and support Project Engineers and Junior Estimators

Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred Minimum 3+ years of relevant industry experience (commercial construction estimating or management) Experience with acoustical ceilings and specialty wall/ceiling systems strongly preferred

Technical Skills

Proficiency in OST, QuickBid, BlueBeam, and construction accounting software Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) Familiarity with scheduling software a plus

Qualifications & Attributes

In-depth understanding of the bid and estimating process Strong communication, organization, and leadership abilities Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment Collaborative mindset with strong attention to detail Ability to create and improve processes in areas with limited precedent

Additional Requirements

Ability to work onsite and adapt to dynamic construction settings Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
