Bruns Building & Development is seeking an organized, detail-oriented construction professional to join our team in St. Henry, Ohio. Depending on your experience, this role may be filled as either an Assistant Project Manager / Estimator or a Project Manager / Estimator.
This position offers a unique opportunity to work alongside an experienced Senior Project Manager / Estimator while developing your own portfolio of projects. You'll assist with commercial steel building projects while independently estimating and managing concrete construction projects from bid through completion.

What You'll Do
- Assist the Senior Project Manager / Estimator with commercial steel building projects.
- Prepare quantity takeoffs and cost estimates for concrete construction projects.
- Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier proposals.
- Prepare competitive project bids and proposals.
- Manage assigned projects from contract award through closeout.
- Coordinate project schedules, subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel.
- Monitor project budgets, costs, and profitability.
- Process submittals, change orders, RFIs, and project documentation.
- Communicate with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams.
- Participate in project meetings and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Help ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget.
Qualifications
- Experience in commercial construction, estimating, project management, or a related field preferred.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Experience with estimating software is a plus.
- Self-motivated with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver's license.
