This dual‑role position is central to our operations, overseeing projects from preconstruction through closeout while managing the estimating pipeline to support continued growth. The ideal candidate brings hands‑on experience in light commercial and multifamily construction, thrives in a fast‑paced environment, and is comfortable managing both office and field responsibilities. This is a high‑impact role with direct visibility to ownership and real opportunity to shape the trajectory of the company.Key Responsibilities Review plans and specifications to develop accurate, competitive estimatesSolicit, evaluate, and negotiate subcontractor and supplier bidsPrepare detailed scopes of work, bid packages, and proposal documentsConduct quantity takeoffs using estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, PlanSwift, or similar)Assist ownership in identifying and pursuing new project opportunitiesMaintain and grow relationships with subcontractors and vendorsProject Management Manage multiple projects simultaneously from award through closeoutDevelop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and procurement plansCoordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and field teams to ensure project milestones are metConduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety complianceProcess and track submittals, RFIs, change orders, and pay applicationsManage owner and architect communications with professionalism and accuracyCommunication & Documentation Maintain organized project files using company systems (e.g., Buildertrend, SharePoint, or similar platforms)Prepare owner‑ready documents including proposals, contracts, schedules, and closeout packagesProvide regular project status updates to ownership and stakeholdersEnsure documentation aligns with company standards and contractual requirementsQualifications 5+ years of experience in construction estimating and/or project managementBackground in light commercial, multifamily, or tenant improvement work strongly preferredProficiency in estimating software, project management platforms, and Microsoft Office SuiteFamiliarity with AIA contract documents, lien waiver processes, and construction accountingStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlinesValid driver's license and reliable transportation for site visitsBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred but not required — equivalent experience will be consideredSelf‑starter with strong initiative and accountabilityClear, professional communicator — written and verbalDetail‑oriented with a commitment to accuracyCollaborative team player who can also work independentlyProblem‑solver who can think critically under pressureCommitted to safety, quality, and continuous improvementCompensation & Benefits Competitive salary commensurate with experiencePerformance‑based bonus opportunityPaid time off and holidaysVehicle allowance or company vehicle (based on role scope)Long‑term growth opportunity within a company positioned for expansion#J-18808-Ljbffr
