Project Manager / Estimator – Paving & Roadway Construction

Job Summary
We are seeking a Project Manager / Estimator with experience in paving and roadway construction. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience estimating and managing Federal, State, County, and City paving/roadway projects and be comfortable overseeing projects from estimating through completion.

Responsibilities

• Prepare estimates, bids, and proposals for paving and roadway projects.
• Manage projects, schedules, budgets, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Review project plans, specifications, and contract requirements.
• Coordinate with owners, engineers, inspectors, and field teams.
• Monitor project costs, production, and overall performance.
• Assist with change orders, pay applications, and project closeout.
• Maintain strong client and subcontractor relationships.
• Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and profitably.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in civil construction, paving, or roadway projects.
• Experience estimating and/or managing Federal, State, County, and City projects.
• Knowledge of asphalt paving, roadway construction, grading, and related civil work.
• Ability to read plans and specifications.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Public works/DOT experience preferred.
