We are seeking an experienced
Estimator / Project Manager to oversee commercial fire sprinkler projects from estimating through project completion. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced construction environment, enjoys collaborating with contractors and customers, and has a strong background in project management, estimating, and fire protection systems.

What You'll Do
- Estimate commercial fire sprinkler installation projects accurately and competitively
- Manage multiple projects from award through closeout
- Review construction drawings, specifications, contracts, and change orders
- Coordinate with general contractors, subcontractors, designers, and field personnel
- Monitor project schedules, budgets, labor, and material costs
- Submit RFIs and change orders as needed
- Conduct field surveys when required
- Coordinate project kickoff meetings and maintain project documentation
- Ensure permits, submittals, and project records remain current
- Track fabrication schedules to support project timelines
- Build strong relationships with customers through excellent communication and service
- Maintain organized digital project files and documentation
Estimating Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed estimates from plans and specifications
- Perform hydraulic calculations for fire sprinkler systems
- Layout and estimate seismic bracing
- Estimate underground fire protection systems
- Perform hydrant flow calculations
- Price projects accurately and submit bids on schedule
- Book awarded projects and maintain estimating database
Qualifications
- Experience estimating and/or managing commercial fire sprinkler projects
- Ability to read construction drawings, specifications, and contracts
- Knowledge of NFPA standards and fire sprinkler systems preferred
- Experience performing hydraulic calculations is highly desirable
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction/project management software
- Valid driver's license preferred
