Job Details

Key Responsibilities:

Estimating:
  • Perform detailed takeoffs and prepare accurate cost estimates for demolition and carpentry scopes
  • Review construction drawings, specifications, and bid documents to fully understand project scope
  • Conduct site visits and job walk-throughs to validate conditions and identify risks
  • Develop proposals, budgets, and value engineering options for clients
  • Maintain and utilize historical cost data to improve estimating accuracy
  • Manage multiple bids simultaneously in a fast-paced environment

Project Management:
  • Oversee projects from preconstruction through completion, ensuring delivery on time and within budget
  • Review contracts, schedules, and procurement needs
  • Coordinate with superintendents, subcontractors, and vendors to execute work effectively
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and general contractors
  • Lead project meetings and provide regular updates on progress, scope, and cost
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings while maintaining safety and quality standards

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in construction estimating, project management, or related role
  • Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
  • Solid understanding of building systems, construction methods, and sequencing
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency with construction software and tools (e.g., estimating software, project management platforms, Microsoft Office)
