Job Store Staffing is recruiting for a dual Project Manager & Executive Assistant role to support a state department in Downtown Denver. This role is fully onsite and will be a 9-month temporary position working in the education industry.

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly strategic and detail-oriented Project Manager & Executive Assistant
to serve as a trusted partner to executive leadership. This hybrid role blends project management (60%) with executive-level support (40%), ensuring the successful execution of high-priority initiatives while maintaining seamless day-to-day operations.
This individual will operate at the center of executive decision-making—managing cross-functional projects, coordinating leadership priorities, and handling sensitive information with a high level of discretion.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Project Management (60%)
- Lead and manage high-impact, cross-functional initiatives aligned with executive priorities
- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and executive dashboards
- Track deliverables across teams to ensure accountability and on-time execution
- Identify risks and proactively mitigate obstacles
- Coordinate briefing materials and leadership updates
- Partner cross-functionally to align strategy and execution
- Drive process improvements and operational efficiencies
Executive Support & Operations (40%)
- Manage complex executive calendars and prioritize scheduling needs
- Coordinate travel, logistics, and expense reporting
- Oversee executive communications, including inbox management and drafting correspondence
- Prepare presentations, talking points, and briefing documents
- Coordinate internal and external meetings with senior stakeholders
- Maintain confidential records and documentation
- Serve as a liaison between leadership and key stakeholders
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- 5+ years of professional experience
- 3+ years supporting senior executives or managing complex projects
- Strong organizational and project management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting C-level or senior leadership
- Background in government, public sector, or regulated environments
- Experience working with boards, stakeholders, or legislative processes
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent experience)
