Position summary: A Project Manager in the Federal Market Sector will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing activities on single or multi-discipline projects of moderate to large scope involving architecture, engineering, planning, interior design or other areas of the firm's practice.
Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance. Due to federal contract requirements, only candidates who meet U.S. government eligibility requirements for a Secret Security Clearance will be considered.
Compensation for this position is $90,000 - $145,000, commensurate with experience, education and certifications. The provided range is a good faith estimate based on the requirements described within the job description. Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance. Preferred
A bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, interior design or planning may be given additional consideration
Additional consideration will be given for candidates who have obtained the following certifications:
Licensure as a Professional Engineer, Registered Architect, or Interior Designer is preferred
Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) is desirable
A minimum of 6 years prior experience in an Engineering or multi-discipline Architectural and Engineering firm
Knowledge of A/E Industry and terms commonly utilized in the Federal market
Understanding of sustainable design principles and design practices with LEED AP accreditation is preferred
Additional certifications such as CDT, CCS, or CCCA are encouraged to reflect personal growth in the profession and an ever-increasing knowledge base to enhance the design and documentation process
A Project Manager should be able to effectively utilize current company software programs for word processing, e-mail, accounting, and information management. Current programs include:
MS Word
MS Excel
MS Outlook
MS PowerPoint
MS OneDrive
MS Teams
Experience in the use of the following programs is desirable:
Visual Planning
AIA Contract Documents
Newforma Project Center
Various other MS 365 Apps (Power BI, Project, Lists, etc.)

Working Conditions

The selected candidate is expected to work in a JMT office location at least three days per week or as needed to perform assigned duties.
