Senior Project Manager - Construction
A full-service design‑build contractor serving residential and commercial clients throughout the Hudson Valley since 1994. The firm specializes in custom homes, high‑end remodeling, commercial construction, and restoration projects, with a reputation for quality craftsmanship, professionalism, and delivering projects on time and on budget
Position Summary
The Senior Project Manager will lead complex residential and commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. This role requires a hands-on construction professional with strong leadership, budgeting, and client‑facing capabilities who can manage multiple projects while upholding Peak Construction's high standards of quality, safety, and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Manage multiple construction projects simultaneously, from concept and estimating through final delivery and closeout
Oversee project budgets, schedules, contracts, change orders, and cost controls to ensure profitability and timely completion
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, engineers, inspectors, and subcontractors
Lead project planning meetings, progress updates, and on‑site coordination
Review drawings, specifications, and scopes of work to identify risks, constructability issues, and cost-saving opportunities
Ensure compliance with local codes, safety regulations, and company quality standards
Coordinate procurement of materials, subcontractors, and long‑lead items
Mentor and support Project Managers, Superintendents, and field staff
Maintain accurate project documentation, reporting, and billing schedules

Qualifications
Required:
8+ years of experience in construction project management
Proven background in residential and/or commercial construction
Strong knowledge of construction means and methods, sequencing, and scheduling
Excellent budgeting, forecasting, and cost-control skills
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and maintain strong client relationships
Proficient with construction management software and MS Office
Valid driver's license
Preferred:
Design‑build project experience
Hudson Valley / New York State construction experience
OSHA certification
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $150000.00 - $200000.00/hr.
