BB&E is an employee-owned, full-service civil and environmental engineering and consulting firm, headquartered in Northville, Michigan, which services both the Federal and Industrial sectors throughout the United States. BB&E team members provide Environmental Consulting, Facilities Engineering, and Program/Project Management Services to the Federal and private sectors.
Position Summary
BB&E is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Project Manager to join our team, supporting the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Honolulu District (POH) Programs & Project Management Division (PPMD) with planning and project development support for an upcoming surge of FY27 projects. Work will be performed on-site at USACE Honolulu District facilities in Honolulu, HI, using Government-furnished computers. This position is contingent upon contract award, and there are two (2) openings.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist PPMD in the planning and project development for each Program by coordinating projects and the Project Development Team (PDT)
- Prepare and maintain project management plans
- Provide cost tracking and documentation support
- Compile documentation for project site approval by the Government
- Facilitate communication between various stakeholders, ensuring proper identification as a contractor at all times
- Provide administrative and support duties as required
Key Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain/maintain a NACI/CAC is required
- Software: High proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Primavera P6 is required
- Strong Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing
- Self-Starter: Highly motivated, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines autonomously
Requirements
- Experience: Fifteen (15) or more years of total relevant experience is required. In addition, a minimum of three (3) full years of experience in the construction industry performing project planning, program analysis, or project controls, of which one (1) year must be in a U.S. Government or DoD contracting environment, is required
- Education: A Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, management, finance, engineering, architecture, or a related field is required; four (4) years of direct, relevant experience may be substituted for the degree
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand/walk/climb/kneel/crouch and remain in a stationary position/sit at least 60% of the time
- Ability to operate office equipment, including computer, copy machine, phone, etc.
- Ability to use hands to finger, handle or feel objects or controls; reach with hands and arms
- Capable of lifting up to 10 lbs.
- Ability to see details of objects that are less than a few feet away
- Ability to understand the speech of another person, speak clearly so listeners can understand, and talk or hear both in person and by telephone
Benefits
- Competitive compensation packages. $125,000-$180,000 annually. This range represents good-faith compensation for the position at the time of posting.
