Global Financial Firm located in MISSISSAUGA, ON has an immediate contract opportunity for an experienced Project Manager - FRTB

Work Mode: Hybrid

Pay Rate Range: $ 91.00 - $ 96.00 Negotiable based upon years of experience 

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure timely execution of deliverables across all workstreams while providing subject matter expertise.
  • Focus on transformation/change management with Capital Markets initiatives addressing regulatory, audit, risk, and control issues.
  • Influence and build collaborative relationships across Global Markets stakeholders.
  • Manage multiple stakeholders to derive business requirements and assist Technology in translating them into technical requirements.
  • Manage internal and external dependencies across initiatives, working closely with various teams.
  • Identify challenges and resolve or escalate risks and issues in a timely manner.
  • Produce accurate and insightful project update materials tailored to various forums and committees.
  • Build strong relationships to support program execution.

Requirements:

  • Experience with FRTB and/or other front office driven regulatory initiatives.
  • Experience with derivatives trading, risk, and P&L flows.
  • Proven track record in strategic project management and delivering complex solutions.
  • Significant experience in Capital Markets Transformation.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Solid understanding of mechanisms to track and communicate performance.
  • Ability to drive change across a global organization.
  • Thought leadership in target state design through stakeholder engagement.
  • Demonstrated analytical skills with follow-up and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant industry experience.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in Markets, Risk, and Regulatory related projects/programs.
  • Bachelor’s/University degree in relevant fields, Master’s degree preferred.
  • Project Management certifications e.g., PMP or equivalent.
  • Experience with JIRA and Agile tech framework.
