JOB SUMMARY:

Project Manager, Genomics Institute is responsible for enhancing the organization through successful critical thinking, project management, data analysis methodology and interpretation for decision making. This includes supporting leadership through the planning, facilitation, and implementation of operational projects, performance improvement initiatives, and use of data tracking and analytical tools.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead strategic and operational projects independently using project management and performance improvement methodologies;
  • Manage multiple stakeholder groups to enact positive changes, lead by influence;
  • Develop, monitor and maintain work plans for key strategic and operational projects;
  • Establish evaluation processes to determine the effectiveness of initiatives; including working with internal teams to develop dashboards and reports to monitor performance;
  • Prepare reports and presentations suitable for the Senior Leadership meetings, committees, Board presentations, and other internal and external audiences;
  • Build and establish project management processes and tools to be deployed across all areas of the organization;
  • Build performance improvement capabilities and knowledge across the organization;
  • Conduct special projects and studies as needed.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelors Degree
  • 5 Years of Experience
  • Area of Study in a Field Related to the Position: Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Business Administration
  • Advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook are required; and willingness to learn new software and management tools as needed
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of information systems, including office automation and data analysis tools such as MS Office, Visio, R, etc.
  • Experience in a hospital or healthcare environment
  • Ability to perform complex analysis using modeling, forecasting and statistical analysis methodologies
  • Ability to prepare complex written and graphic reports that explain and interpret data trends
  • Demonstrated commitment to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive working and learning environment

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Masters Degree

CURRENT SALARY RANGE:

The current salary range for this position is $48.03 to $66.06. Rady Children's Hospital is committed to compensation that is externally competitive and internally equitable. We demonstrate this commitment by conducting regular market reviews to remain competitive with organizations of similar size in the nonprofit, healthcare sector. The range listed above does not represent the full salary range for the position but is the expected hiring range for qualified candidates. Compensation decisions consider a variety of factors including experience, education, licensure, unique skillsets, organizational need, and internal equity.
