Opportunity
A leading geotechnical specialty contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support deep foundation and earth retention projects across New York State. This role is responsible for managing geotechnical construction projects ranging in size from $50,000 to $5,000,000, ensuring work is delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget.
The ideal candidate will lead project teams, work directly with clients, and oversee all phases of project execution from planning through completion.

Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Proposals
- Identify new opportunities and support overall project strategy
- Assist in developing proposals including risk assessment, estimating, site visits, and technical writing
- Support client relationship development and contract negotiation
- Coordinate with pre-construction teams
Project Planning
- Manage designs, submittals, material ordering, and scheduling
- Lead pre-job planning and project kickoff meetings
- Develop project strategies to maximize profitability
Project Execution
- Lead project teams and ensure effective coordination
- Monitor project schedule, budget, and performance
- Identify and resolve project challenges to improve outcomes
- Ensure work meets all specified requirements
Financial Management
- Review and approve financial reports, forecasts, and budgets
- Manage payment applications and accounts receivable collections
Safety & Quality Assurance
- Ensure compliance with company and OSHA safety requirements
- Support incident response and safety coordination with HSEQ
- Resolve quality nonconformance issues
- Exercise stop-work authority when necessary for safety or quality concerns
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management preferred
- Minimum 5+ years of geotechnical, construction, or related industry experience preferred
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong computer and organizational skills
