Description
- Manage commercial construction projects from award through successful completion
- Coordinate project schedules, budgets, subcontractors, and resources
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and project stakeholders
- Monitor project performance to ensure quality, safety, and contractual compliance
- Lead project meetings and maintain clear communication across all teams
- Oversee procurement activities, change orders, and cost controls
- Collaborate closely with field teams to resolve challenges and maintain project momentum
- Conduct regular site visits to support project execution and client relationships
- Prepare project reports, forecasts, and executive updates
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and mentorship opportunities within the project management team
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred
- 5+ years of project management experience within commercial construction
- Experience working for a General Contractor is required
- Federal or government construction project experience is highly preferred
- Strong understanding of project budgeting, scheduling, and contract administration
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and project priorities simultaneously
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Eligible to pass federal background checks and access secure project sites
- Experience supporting Pentagon, federal agency, or other secure government projects is a plus
- Proficient with construction management software and project controls tools
