Job Description

Lead the delivery of ground-up construction projects from pre-construction through closeout. Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and overall project execution plans. Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, consultants, subcontractors, and field teams. Oversee procurement, contract administration, and subcontractor management. Monitor project costs, forecasts, and change orders to ensure financial targets are met. Partner closely with Superintendents to ensure site operations run efficiently and safely. Manage project risks and proactively resolve issues that could impact schedule or budget. Facilitate project meetings and provide regular updates to key stakeholders. Ensure compliance with all building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards. Lead project closeout activities, including punch lists, turnover documentation, and final reporting.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Project Manager - Ground Up should have:

• 5+ years of Project Management experience with a General Contractor.
• Proven experience managing ground-up construction projects in New York.
• Experience within commercial, multifamily, mixed-use, healthcare, education, or institutional construction is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of construction means and methods, budgeting, scheduling, and project controls.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders while maintaining strong client relationships.
• Experience reviewing construction drawings, specifications, contracts, and project documentation.
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with construction management software, scheduling platforms, and Microsoft Office.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred.
