Project Manager - Groundwater / Wastewater Treatment

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee multiple environmental remediation, groundwater, and wastewater treatment system projects. This role offers the opportunity to lead operations and maintenance programs, manage client relationships, and contribute to the growth of a specialized environmental services division.

Our client is a growing environmental services organization specializing in groundwater remediation, water treatment, wastewater treatment, and environmental compliance solutions. Description

• Manage multiple groundwater, wastewater, and environmental treatment system projects simultaneously.
• Oversee project schedules, budgeting, resource allocation, procurement activities, and contract administration.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring effective communication and strong customer relationships.
• Coordinate field operations and ensure high-quality project execution and documentation.
• Develop and prepare technical proposals and project-related deliverables.
• Support operational growth initiatives, helping expand both customer accounts and revenue opportunities.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to improve operational performance and project profitability.
• Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations across all project activities.

Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of experience within the environmental services industry.
• Hands-on experience operating groundwater, wastewater, or remediation treatment systems.
• At least 2 years of project management experience with demonstrated success managing project financials and customer relationships.
• Strong understanding of remediation technologies such as groundwater extraction and treatment (GWET), soil vapor extraction (SVE), air sparging (AS), sub-slab depressurization systems (SSDS), advanced oxidation processes (AOP), and related treatment technologies.
• Experience with remedial system design, construction, chemical injection, bioremediation, or traditional water/wastewater engineering is highly desirable.
• Strong proposal-writing and technical communication skills.
• OSHA HAZWOPER certification, valid driver's license, and authorization to work in the United States required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license and/or water or wastewater operator certifications are advantageous but not required

Job Offer
