A construction company is seeking a Project Manager to manage large-scale heavy highway construction projects throughout New York State.
This role reports directly to the Vice President of Project Management and is responsible for overseeing all aspects of project execution, including budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and client coordination, while ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

What You’ll Do (Essential Duties & Responsibilities)
Project Planning & Scheduling
- Establish master project schedule and two-week look-ahead submissions
- Prepare preconstruction documents for owner kickoff
- Coordinate subcontractor schedules and contractual requirements
- Order and schedule long-lead items for project delivery
Financial & Budget Management
- Manage project budgets and analyze financial reports
- Review pay estimates, purchase orders, stone/concrete tickets, and receipts for cost coding
- Prepare price negotiations, change orders, and payment applications
- Run monthly cost-to-complete meetings and attend bi-weekly progress meetings
Team & Stakeholder Coordination
- Communicate with project owners, management, and field employees
- Work closely with site superintendents on personnel, resources, and workplans
- Review timesheets and submit to payroll
- Deliver projects on time and on budget
Compliance & Safety
- Maintain a safe work environment and adhere to OSHA regulations
- Manage project D/W/MBE and EEO goals
- Review and interpret governmental regulations as applicable
What You Bring (Qualifications & Education)
- Active driver’s license and reliable vehicle
- Familiarity with machinery, vehicles, and other construction equipment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software
- Ability to work flexible hours to meet deadlines
