Description
The Project Manager will be responsible for:
- Managing commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
- Leading project planning, scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and client communication.
- Overseeing subcontractors and ensuring work is delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget.
- Coordinating with architects, engineers, vendors, and ownership teams to drive project success.
- Monitoring project financials, contracts, change orders, and project reporting.
- Utilizing Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Project to manage project documentation and workflows.
- Fostering strong client relationships and maintaining a high level of service throughout project delivery.
- Managing multiple projects simultaneously as workload and project complexity increase.
- Supporting successful project execution across corporate interiors, renovations, secure environments, and specialty commercial projects.
Profile
A successful Project Manager should have:
- 5+ years of Project Management experience within commercial construction.
- General Contractor experience is required.
- Proven experience delivering high-end interior renovations, tenant fit-outs, or corporate interiors.
- Strong knowledge of commercial construction processes, contracts, and project controls.
- Experience managing projects ranging from approximately $1M to $15M+.
- Ability to work independently and step into active projects with minimal ramp-up time.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills with clients and project stakeholders.
- Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Project.
- Experience working with commercial office, law firm, healthcare, financial, technology, or government clients is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with the DC, Northern Virginia, and Mid-Atlantic construction market is a plus.
