Position Overview

\n

Client is seeking an experienced Project Manager – Maintenance Capital Projects to support capital and maintenance projects within its Oil & Gas operations.

\n

The ideal candidate will be an Oil & Gas Project Manager with a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering who has experience managing multiple capital, maintenance, construction, pipeline, compressor, meter station, or facility projects simultaneously.

\n

This role will manage a high volume of projects, ranging from approximately $20K to several million dollars, across various stages of the project lifecycle—from initial scoping and project initiation through engineering, construction, execution, and final closeout.

\n

Initially, the Project Manager will focus on learning Enbridge’s systems and processes and completing outstanding project closeout documentation from previous project managers. Following training, the individual will independently manage their own portfolio of projects.

Key Responsibilities

\n

• \n
• Manage up to 30 projects simultaneously across different stages of the project lifecycle.
• \n
• Manage maintenance capital projects from initiation and scoping through execution, construction, and closeout.
• \n
• Develop project scopes and coordinate project requirements with engineering and field teams.
• \n
• Complete outstanding project documentation and closeout activities.
• \n
• Coordinate with engineering, cost control, procurement/requisition support, and other project stakeholders.
• \n
• Monitor project activities, schedules, costs, and deliverables to ensure successful execution.
• \n
• Work closely with multiple internal teams and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• \n
• Travel to compressor stations, meter stations, pipeline facilities, and other project sites as needed.
• \n

Conduct field/site visits to:

\n

• \n
• Scope new projects.
• \n
• Review existing field/site conditions.
• \n
• Support construction and installation activities.
• \n
• Coordinate with field personnel and project teams.
• \n
• Follow all required field safety procedures and PPE requirements.
• \n

\n

\n

Travel / Field Work

\n

Approximately 25% travel/field work, primarily around the Houston area and supported project sites.

\n

\n

Travel will occur as needed based on the project and may include visits to:

\n

• \n
• Compressor stations
• \n
• Meter stations
• \n
• Pipeline facilities
• \n
• Construction/installation sites
• \n
• Other Oil & Gas facilities
• \n

\n

This is not continuous field work. Site visits will be scheduled based on project requirements.

Required Qualifications – MUST HAVE

\n

• \n
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering – FIRM REQUIREMENT
• \n
• 7+ years of direct Project Management experience preferred
• \n
• Oil & Gas industry experience
• \n
• Experience managing engineering, construction, capital, or maintenance projects
• \n
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
• \n
• Ability to manage a high-volume project portfolio, potentially up to 30 projects
• \n
• Strong project organization, planning, and communication skills
• \n
• Strong ability to coordinate across multiple teams and stakeholder groups
• \n
• Ability to work effectively with engineering, procurement, cost control, construction, and field teams
• \n
• Willingness and ability to perform approximately 25% field travel
• \n

Preferred (Nice to have) Experience

\n

• \n
• Brownfield / maintenance capital project experience is highly preferred
• \n
• Greenfield/new construction experience will also be considered
• \n
• Experience with pipeline, compressor stations, meter stations, or facility projects is a strong plus
• \n
• Experience managing projects ranging from small maintenance projects to multi-million-dollar capital projects
• \n
• Experience with project closeout, documentation, and lifecycle management
• \n

Note:Candidates with Greenfield/new construction project experience may be considered, as the hiring manager views this experience as transferable to Brownfield/maintenance capital projects.
