About the role:

As an MPL Project Manager, you will lead the end-to-end execution of complex project logistics solutions within Maersk Project Logistics (MPL). Reporting to the Regional MPL Operations Industrial Lead, you will act as the primary point of contact for strategic customers, ensuring safe, compliant, and on-time delivery across multi-modal transportation solutions. This role offers the opportunity to work cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners while driving operational excellence, continuous improvement, and customer satisfaction across high-impact projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end management of project logistics shipments from planning through execution and closeout

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring clear communication and service delivery

  • Coordinate multi-modal transportation across ocean, air, and land operations

  • Monitor and manage KPIs including on-time delivery, cost performance, and service quality

  • Identify operational risks and implement mitigation strategies proactively

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize performance and cost efficiency

  • Mentor and support junior team members while fostering accountability and collaboration

  • Demonstrated experience in project management within logistics or supply chain environments

  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to navigate matrix organizations

  • Proven ability to manage complex, multi-modal logistics operations

  • Effective communicator with a strong customer-focused mindset

  • Analytical problem solver with the ability to manage risks and drive solutions

  • Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain, business, or a related field (preferred)

  • Ability to collaborate across time zones; additional language skills such as Chinese are an advantage

Travel expectations: 10-25%

Salary: $94,000 - $105,000*

  • The stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary and may be adjusted based on market conditions, experience, and location. Final compensation will be discussed directly with the selected candidate(s) in compliance with all applicable laws.
