Position Title: Tier 2 Technical Support
Position Type: Full-Time, Remote (some onsite work in Bethesda)
Position Location: Bethesda, Maryland Area
Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for ensuring the project team completes the project.
- Oversees and manages other Project Management Office members.
- Provides the overall management of the project direction as related to functionality, schedule and budget.
- Insures adherence to project management and software development life cycle and best practices.
- Manages the team’s performance on project tasks.
- Provides overall project and budget planning, monitoring and control.
- Provides periodic status reports for Senior Leadership.
- Coordinates project issues and dependencies.
- Reviews and approves architecture and product direction.
- Secures acceptance and approval of deliverables from the project sponsor.
- Responsible for status reporting, risk management, and escalation of issues that cannot be resolved in the team.
- Liaises with all current and future stakeholders.
- Develops staffing plans.
- Manages recruitments and roll offs.
- Represents internal stakeholders and users to the Change Control Board.
