Typically requires a Bachelors in Business Administration or related discipline and at least six years of progressively complex experience in project administration. May substitute equivalent experience in lieu of education.
We are seeking a technically savvy and competent individual, preferably with a degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering, who has supply chain experience.
Demonstrates technical expertise and application of program management principles, concepts, and practice as well as program management and leadership skills including organizing, planning, scheduling, and coordinating workloads to meet established deadlines or milestones.
Must have a basic understanding of supplier administration, supply chain, purchasing, material management, production and/or material control practices, concepts, principles and regulations; and, experience demonstrating a broad application of those principles, concepts, and practices.
Must possess the ability to provide leadership in developing and communicating new concepts; apply them accurately throughout an evolving environment; organize, schedule and coordinate multiple work phases; determine the appropriate approach at the task or project level; and, provide innovative solutions to a range of complex problems.
Must have excellent communication, computer, documentation, presentation and interpersonal skills; ability to work independently and lead a team; capable of representing the organization as the prime contact and, provide leadership to less experienced professional and support employees on projects.
Must be customer focused and possess:
the ability to identify issues, analyze and interpret data and develop innovative solutions to a variety of complex matters of diverse scope and nature
the analytical ability to read and understand technical instructions, drawings and specifications.
