Project Manager II - CDx Pharma Services Drive Innovation in Diagnostics and Pharmaceutical Services

We are seeking a seasoned Project Manager II - CDx Pharma Services to lead cross-functional projects that support product delivery, operational excellence, and continuous improvement initiatives. This is a fully onsite contract position ideal for a proactive project management professional with experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech, diagnostics, or medical device industries.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing projects from concept through completion, ensuring timelines, resources, budgets, and stakeholder expectations are successfully aligned. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment where independent thinking, strong communication, and problem-solving skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities Project Management & Execution

• Lead multiple projects ranging from process improvement initiatives to larger business and operational programs.
• Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, resource allocations, budgets, and status reporting.
• Drive project execution from initiation through completion while ensuring quality and delivery objectives are met.
• Monitor milestones, dependencies, and project performance metrics.

Operations & Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Coordinate and facilitate collaboration across multidisciplinary teams.
• Ensure projects are completed on schedule and aligned with operational and service requirements.
• Support day-to-day oversight of sample process workflows and accurate reporting practices.

Resource Planning & Data Management

• Maintain resource trackers, capacity plans, and project dashboards to ensure data integrity and transparency.
• Manage project-related CAPEX budgets and resource forecasting activities.
• Communicate project status, risks, and performance updates to stakeholders and leadership.

Risk Management & Continuous Improvement

• Identify project risks, bottlenecks, and potential delays before they impact delivery.
• Perform critical path analysis and challenge assumptions to drive successful outcomes.
• Lead lessons-learned reviews and implement process improvements to enhance future project execution.
• Promote knowledge sharing and best practices across teams.

Stakeholder Engagement

• Build strong relationships with cross-functional partners and business leaders.
• Influence decision-making and align stakeholders on project goals, priorities, and deliverables.
• Serve as a trusted advisor by translating business needs into actionable project outcomes.

What Were Looking For Required Qualifications

Education

• Bachelors degree required.
• Degree in Life Sciences, Biology, Biotechnology, or a related field preferred.

Experience

• 2-5 years of project management experience within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, diagnostics, or medical device industry.
• Proven experience leading product development, business transformation, or process improvement projects.

Skills & Competencies

• Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
• Strong ability to navigate ambiguity and solve complex problems independently.
• Experience managing diverse cross-functional teams and stakeholder groups.
• Self-starter with the ability to work autonomously and drive results with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Technical Skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Project.
• Experience working within Google Workspace (Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc.).
• Strong reporting, dashboard management, and project tracking capabilities.

Speed & Agility

• Experience working on projects or business initiatives that require rapid execution and delivery.

Preferred Qualifications

• Masters degree in a related field.
• PMP (Project Management Professional) certification.
• Experience with Agile and Scrum project management methodologies.
