Our client, a world leader in life sciences and biotechnology, is looking for a “Project Manager II – CDx Pharma Services” based in Tucson, AZ.

Job Duration: Long Term Contract (Possibility Of Extension)

Pay Rate : $45/hr on W2

Seeking a Project Manager II to lead small to complex projects within CDx Pharma Services, driving initiatives from concept through completion. The role will manage project plans, timelines, resources, budgets, risks, and cross-functional stakeholder communication.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage product development, process improvement, and business projects from initiation through completion.
  
• Develop project plans, schedules, resource plans, estimates, dashboards, and status reports.
  
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure projects meet timelines, requirements, and service commitments.
  
• Monitor sample workflow and reporting activities to support operational execution and data integrity.
  
• Manage CAPEX budgets, resource trackers, and capacity planning.
  
• Identify risks, bottlenecks, and critical-path issues and proactively drive solutions.
  
• Maintain project documentation and lead lessons-learned/continuous improvement initiatives.
  
• Communicate project status and influence diverse stakeholders across the organization.
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree; Life Sciences preferred.
  
• 2–5 years of project management experience in diagnostics, medical devices, pharmaceutical, or biotech environments.
  
• Experience leading product development or process improvement projects.
  
• Strong organizational, communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills.
  
• Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
  
• Proficiency in MS Office, MS Project, and Google Workspace.
  

Preferred

• Master’s degree
  
• PMP certification
  
• Agile/Scrum experience
