Division/Site Specific Information:
High Point, NC is a commercial manufacturing and development site focusing on gelatin based drug delivery dosage forms (softgels). High Point is a Softgel Center of Excellence since 1996, offering extensive development and commercial scale capabilities for a variety of softgel technologies.

The individual will manage multiple client projects, including strategic accounts, ensuring project deliverables and financial milestone are executed in accordance with required timelines. With personal responsibility for a portfolio of projects, the role holder will be the primary relationship manager, driving communication for successful business delivery and exemplary client service in order to provide maximum benefit for the company in a sustainable manner. Additionally, this role may support internal initiatives related to project management.
Day in the Life:
Independently manage all business aspects of the project / portfolio including: (90%)
o Manage multiple client projects, including strategic accounts, ensuring project deliverables and financial milestone are executed in accordance with required timelines.
o With personal responsibility for a portfolio of projects, the role holder will be the primary relationship manager, driving communication for successful business delivery and exemplary client service in order to provide maximum benefit for the company in a sustainable manner.
o Lead and facilitate risk mitigation and issue escalation process through coordination of internal resources, serving as a liaison with Site Leadership to ensure effective solution/resolution
o Act as the internal client advocate, leading regular and ad hoc customer meetings, internal team meetings, site visits, and Business Review meetings for assigned accounts.
o Responsible for account management of assigned clients/portfolios, including changes of scope, project expansion and commercial life cycle management.
o Manage SOR forecast, attainment of financial goals and KPI metrics for project portfolio
o Ensure client and Thermo Fisher Scientific are operating in compliance with the contractual requirements (accruals, bill backs, service charges, etc.).
o Utilize MySupply, SmartSheet and other tools in order to measure project performance, monitor the progress of the project, identify and quantify any variances, perform any required corrective actions and communicate to all stakeholders.
o Serve as the liaison between Pharmaceutical Development Services (PDS) and Drug Product Services (DPS) management to coordinate the introduction of new products from the PDS pipeline
o Work with PMO and local team to continuously improve PM and project delivery practices.
o Support global PMO or PDS initiatives.
o Feedback to Functional Leadership on project team member performance
Keys to Success:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in relevant scientific or engineering field with Minimum 2 years related industry experience (pharmaceutical development experience an advantage)
Experience:
Minimum 2 years of Project Management experience in a GMP environment
Experience working with external clients preferred
PMP certification preferred
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

Proficiency using MS Office applications
