We have an exciting opportunity located in Poway, CA for a talented Project Manager to support the development and deployment of a customer-facing Electronic Information Exchange (EIE) tool.

This position reports to an MQ-9B Sustainment Program Manager and will work side by side with an EIE Program Manager. While the EIE is an Information Technology (IT) solution, this position will focus on the business processes that define it and support delivery to the customer. This position will support integration of existing and new IT applications for permission-based secure access to a customer portal designed to exchange data with multiple domestic and international customers. Development of customer testing plans/procedures, EIE familiarization training materials, and user guides for use and maintenance of the system, as well as establishment of help desk procedures and processes will also be a part of this role. This position will support all phases of the EIE program from initiation through delivery and sustainment. This position has strong potential for career advancement as the EIE capability is deployed to more SkyGuardian Global Support Solution (SGSS) customers.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collaborate closely with the IT department to provide business definition and requirements to systems engineering teams to develop, build, test, and demonstrate business information systems.
• Assist with development of project plan(s) and manage resources to ensure project schedule, budget, quality and specification goals are attained.
• Coordinate departmental and/or cross-functional teams to assign and prioritize tasks focused on delivering new or upgrading existing products and/or services.
• Develop and coordinate project plans or delivery methods which can serve single or multiple customers.
• Monitor project schedule, timelines, milestones, and costs from initiation through delivery.
• Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and may present results to project management team and/or management.
• Identify and assess project issues and develop recommendations for solutions to meet productivity, quality and customer satisfaction goals and objectives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional management and project teams to expand services and potential business opportunities.
• Responsible for ensuring all laws, regulations and other applicable obligations are observed wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of GA-ASI.
• Manage the development and security of proprietary technology and maintain the strict confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Other duties as assigned or required.

• Typically requires a Bachelors in Business Administration or related discipline and nine or more years of progressively complex experience in the project administration field with at least three of those years in project management. May substitute equivalent experience in lieu of education.

• Must have a thorough understanding of project management processes and procedures, planning and scheduling methods, and budget management as well as the ability to organize, schedule, and coordinate workloads to meet established milestones and budgets.

• Must be able to work extended hours and travel as required.

• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance is required.

• PMP certification.

• Agile/Scrum experience and or certification.

• Experience in IT and Network Systems.

• Experience in aviation operations/maintenance and/or the aerospace industry.

• Technical Writing experience.
