We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager with deep Disaster Recovery (DR) expertise to help drive and mature a large-scale Enterprise Disaster Recovery Program. This is an opportunity to play a pivotal role in strengthening organizational resiliency, improving recovery readiness, and ensuring critical business services remain available during operational disruptions.
The ideal candidate brings 10+ years of experience leading Disaster Recovery, Infrastructure, Business Continuity, or Operational Readiness initiatives within complex enterprise environments. You will partner with senior technology leaders, infrastructure teams, security professionals, and business stakeholders to build scalable recovery processes, execute critical recovery testing, and establish governance practices that support long-term operational resilience.

What You'll Do
Disaster Recovery Program Leadership
- Drive planning, execution, governance, and continuous improvement of enterprise Disaster Recovery initiatives.
- Coordinate annual recovery testing for critical business applications, infrastructure platforms, and operational services.
- Partner with application owners, infrastructure teams, security teams, architecture groups, and business stakeholders to ensure successful failover and failback testing.
- Manage recovery playbooks, testing schedules, certification tracking, and remediation activities.
- Support prioritization and recovery planning efforts for business-critical and regulatory-sensitive applications.
- Capture lessons learned and drive actionable improvements following recovery exercises.
- Help advance Disaster Recovery automation capabilities and operational efficiencies.
Project & Program Management
- Lead complex technology initiatives from initiation through completion.
- Develop and maintain integrated project plans, schedules, milestones, resource plans, and risk registers.
- Manage dependencies across infrastructure, operations, security, application, and business teams.
- Drive governance practices, project controls, documentation standards, and executive reporting.
- Coordinate shared resources across multiple workstreams while balancing competing priorities.
- Monitor budgets, project health, risks, issues, and mitigation strategies.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives.
Executive Reporting & Stakeholder Engagement
- Prepare executive-level dashboards, metrics, presentations, and status reporting.
- Communicate project health, testing results, risks, and key decisions to leadership.
- Facilitate steering committees, stakeholder meetings, and program reviews.
- Translate complex technical information into meaningful business insights.
- Build strong partnerships across technology, operations, compliance, risk management, and business teams.
Process Improvement & Governance
- Establish and enhance Disaster Recovery standards, frameworks, checklists, and best practices.
- Create repeatable, scalable processes that improve recovery readiness and testing consistency.
- Support ongoing improvements in reporting, documentation management, collaboration tools, and program governance.
- Drive accountability across teams while fostering a culture of operational excellence and resilience.
What We're Looking For
Required Experience
- 10+ years of Project Management experience within enterprise technology organizations.
- Proven success leading Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity, Infrastructure, Operational Readiness, or Enterprise Resiliency programs.
- Experience planning and executing Disaster Recovery testing initiatives.
- Strong background managing large, cross-functional technology programs involving multiple stakeholders.
- Experience coordinating infrastructure teams including:
- Servers
- Databases
- Networks
- Virtualization
- Operations teams
- Cloud and hybrid environments
- Demonstrated expertise in risk management, governance, process development, and operational controls.
- Experience creating executive dashboards, metrics, status reporting, and leadership communications.
- Strong stakeholder management and executive presence.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field.
- PMP certification or equivalent project management certification.
- Experience within highly regulated enterprise environments.
- Experience supporting recovery programs for critical business applications and infrastructure.
- Familiarity with recovery automation tools and modern resiliency practices.
- Knowledge of both Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies.
