About our client: My client is a growing Indianapolis-based commercial contractor that offers the opportunity to be part of a close-knit team while helping build the company's future. Established five years ago, they specialize in retail, restaurant, light commercial, and tenant improvement projects with a focus on fast-paced work and strong client relationships. Job Description
The project manager's responsibilities:
- Lead light commercial and retail builds from the ground up
- Work with leadership as they continue to win more projects and expand into new sectors.
- Serve as the primary contact for clients, design teams, and subcontractors while ensuring quality and safety
- Manage contracts, RFIs, change orders, and submittals using modern project management tools
- Partner with estimating and procurement during preconstruction and support continuous improvement
- Deliver projects ranging from $3M-$5M+ within a strong local pipeline

The Successful Applicant
The successful project manager:
- 5-10 years of commercial construction experience
- Familiar with design/build construction processes
- Construction related degree preferred
- Excellent estimating and conceptual bid experience
- Experience using construction software - Procore preferred
- Scheduling and budgeting experience
- Client facing - comfortable communicating with clients on projects
