    We are expanding our project execution team with a Project Manager who understands the realities of industrial automation work-someone who can bridge engineering, construction, and client expectations with clarity, discipline, and technical fluency.<\/span>

    Position Summary <\/b>

    <\/div>

    The Project Manager - Industrial Automation<\/b> leads the planning, coordination, and delivery of automation and controls projects across the full lifecycle: design, procurement, fabrication, testing, commissioning, and turnover. This role requires strong familiarity with industrial EPC workflows and the technical depth to collaborate with senior controls engineers, instrumentation specialists, and client engineering teams.<\/span>

    You will own project scope, schedule, budget, risk, documentation, and communication-ensuring every deliverable meets Atlas OT's standards for safety, compliance, and technical excellence. Projects will range from oil and gas, water and wastewater, manufacturing, building automation, power, food and beverage and more. <\/span>

    <\/p>

    Key Responsibilities<\/span><\/b>

    <\/h2>Lead automation and controls projects from kickoff through commissioning and closeout.<\/span>

    <\/span><\/li>Develop and maintain project schedules, resource plans, and cost forecasts.<\/span>

    <\/span><\/li>Coordinate engineering deliverables including P&IDs, I/O lists, control narratives, cause‑and‑effect matrices, network architectures, and FAT/SAT documentation.<\/span>

    <\/span><\/li>Manage procurement of instrumentation, control panels, networking hardware, and automation components.<\/span>

    <\/span><\/li>Oversee panel fabrication, staging, and testing activities with internal and external vendors.<\/span>

    <\/span><\/li>Support field execution, commissioning, and startup activities as needed.<\/span><\/span>

    <\/li>Uphold and improve quality assurance processes, ensuring compliance with industry and company standards<\/span>

    Requirements<\/h3>Skills Mastery <\/b>

    <\/b><\/div>5+ years of experience managing industrial automation, controls, or instrumentation projects.<\/span>

    <\/span><\/li>Strong understanding of PLC/HMI/SCADA systems (Rockwell, Siemens, or similar).<\/span>

    <\/span><\/li>Familiarity with EPC project workflows, engineering deliverables, and construction interfaces.<\/span>

    <\/span><\/li>Experience with industrial instrumentation, control panels, and field commissioning.<\/span>

    <\/span><\/li>Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, electrical schematics, and control system documentation.<\/span>

    <\/span><\/li>Proven ability to manage scope, schedule, budget, and risk in a technical environment.<\/span>

    <\/span><\/li>Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder‑management skills.<\/span><\/span>

    <\/li>Proven ability to architect and implement complex, multi-platform control systems across multiple sites

    <\/span><\/li>Strong knowledge of UL, NEC, ISA, and IEC standards; proficiency in process safety and functional safety systems

    <\/span><\/li>Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking, with the ability to produce clear and accurate technical documentation.

    <\/li><\/ul>Work Experience

    <\/b><\/div>Bachelor's degree in Engineering required; advanced certifications preferred (ISA CAP, PE License - Control Systems)

    <\/span><\/li>Minimum of 12,000 project hours logged, including system architecture and multi-site implementations (8+ years experience)

    <\/span><\/li>Prior experience developing and reviewing control narratives, P&IDs, and safety systems (SIS)

    <\/span><\/li>Experience mentoring junior engineers and contributing to a knowledge-sharing culture

    <\/span><\/li>Must possess a valid driver's license and be willing to travel as needed

    <\/span><\/li>Drug-free workplace compliance required
