Description

The Project Manager - Industrial Construction - Travel will be responsible for:

• • Manage commercial construction projects from planning through completion.
  • Lead project scheduling, budgeting, and overall project execution.
  • Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams.
  • Monitor project financial performance and maintain cost controls.
  • Ensure project milestones, quality standards, and safety objectives are achieved.
  • Review contracts, change orders, submittals, and project documentation.
  • Provide leadership to project teams and support field operations.
  • Travel throughout the Southeast region to oversee project activities and maintain client relationships.
  • Identify and resolve project challenges while minimizing schedule and budget impacts.
  • Deliver projects that meet client expectations and company performance goals.

Profile

The Project Manager - Industrial Construction - Travel should have:

• • Experience managing commercial construction projects as a Project Manager.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, scheduling, budgeting, and contract administration.
  • Ability to lead multiple stakeholders and maintain effective communication throughout a project lifecycle.
  • Experience managing project financials, cost controls, and forecasting.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to travel throughout the Southeast region as required.
  • Proficiency with construction management software and project reporting tools.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.

Requirements 5+ years of construction Project Manager experience with a general contractor is required Experience on ground-up education, healthcare, and/or commercial construction projects is required Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or relevant degree preferred Applicable Project Management Software experience preferred Developed thorough understanding of corporate and industry practices, processes, standards, etc. and their impact on project success Maintains good communication and interpersonal skills to interact with anyone from clients to subcontractors Must be a business-oriented person and act professionally when representing the employer at any level Local to Charlotte preferred, though relocators will be considered
