Job role--Project Manager Insurance Location: Springfield, MA 01111 Duration: 12 Months Experience Required: 8 10 Years Interview Process: Face-to-Face Required Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Technology Lead / Project Manager (PMP Certified) with a strong background in delivering large-scale technology programs within the Insurance domain. The ideal candidate will possess extensive project management expertise, strong stakeholder management skills, and a proven track record of successfully leading cross-functional teams across complex technology initiatives. This role requires an individual who can drive project execution, manage multiple workstreams, coordinate with vendors and distributed teams, and ensure successful delivery while maintaining strong governance and communication practices. <.> Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end delivery of technology programs and strategic initiatives within the insurance industry.
Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, resources, risks, and dependencies.
Coordinate cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, technology teams, vendors, and onshore/offshore resources.
Establish and maintain project governance frameworks, ensuring adherence to organizational standards.
Drive RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) management and maintain action and decision logs.
Prepare and deliver executive-level status reports, presentations, and leadership updates.
Facilitate project planning, stakeholder meetings, steering committee reviews, and project checkpoints.
Ensure alignment between business objectives and technology delivery outcomes.
Monitor project performance and proactively resolve issues impacting delivery timelines.
Support release management and cutover activities for production deployments.
Foster collaboration across multiple teams and ensure successful execution of program objectives.
<.> Required Qualifications
PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification required.
8+ years of project management experience delivering technology programs.
Strong experience within the Insurance industry.
Solid understanding of insurance products, processes, operations, and business workflows.
Proven experience managing complex projects involving multiple workstreams and stakeholders.
Demonstrated success leading vendor-managed, onshore, and offshore delivery teams.
Strong governance, risk management, and dependency management experience.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and drive projects to completion.
Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to communicate effectively with executive leadership.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
