Title: Technical Project Manager Software & Firmware
Pay: $55.00-60.00

Location: Beaverton, OR 97005 (Onsite)
Duration: 1 year contract
Overview
We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to support software and firmware development initiatives for an innovative consumer product program. This role requires a hands-on leader who thrives in fast-paced environments, drives execution, and creates processes where none exist. The ideal candidate has experience managing cross-functional engineering teams developing software, firmware, and hardware-integrated products.
Job Description
" Lead software and firmware development projects from planning through delivery.
" Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, standups, and retrospectives.
" Manage project schedules, priorities, risks, and dependencies across multiple teams.
" Drive execution and accountability by tracking action items, deliverables, and milestones.
" Partner with engineering, product, design, QA, and business stakeholders to align priorities.
" Maintain and optimize workflows within Jira.
" Support implementation and continuous improvement of SDLC processes.
" Coordinate testing, validation, and deployment activities.
" Identify and resolve project roadblocks in a rapidly changing environment.
" Create documentation and reporting to ensure transparency and project alignment.

Required Skills
" 8+ years of Technical Project Management experience
" Software development project management experience
" Firmware development project management experience
" Scrum Master or Agile delivery experience
" Jira expertise
" Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
" Experience building and improving processes in ambiguous environments
" Experience leading cross-functional engineering teams

Preferred Skills
" Consumer product development experience
" Mobile application, cloud, or firmware product experience
" Embedded systems, robotics, wearables, or mechatronics experience
" Experience implementing SDLC practices for new product development
" Experience working with UX, product, and engineering teams
