POSITION OVERVIEW
As a seasoned Sr. "Privacy" Project Manager with experience delivering real-world complex Data & Advanced Analytics projects, the person is expected to
1. Plan, execute, and oversee technology and data platform initiatives within the Global Services and Data Platform (GSDPF) Division by coordinating scope, schedule, resources, budget, and deliverables.
2. Ensure projects are delivered in alignment with approved objectives, governance standards, and quality expectations while supporting client’s data, analytics, and digital transformation initiatives.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
• Project Planning & Execution
Develop, maintain, and manage project plans, schedules, work breakdown structures, and milestone timelines in alignment with approved scope and objectives. Coordinate project activities across cross-functional teams to support timely and efficient execution of deliverables throughout the project lifecycle.
• Data Privacy Project Leadership
Lead projects focused on data privacy compliance and regulatory alignment.
Drive privacy assessments, security checkpoints, and compliance reviews as part of project delivery. Partner with Legal, InfoSec, and Data Governance teams to ensure appropriate handling of PII, sensitive data, and regulated datasets. Oversee implementation of privacy controls such as access restrictions, masking, minimization, retention workflows, and audit traceability. Ensure that privacy requirements are incorporated into user stories, backlog items, acceptance criteria, and definition of done.
• Agile & Scrum Leadership
Facilitate all Agile ceremonies and ensure that both data and privacy requirements are visible, prioritized, and worked through in alignment with sprint goals. Partner with Product Owners to maintain dual-focused backlogs that cover feature delivery, data quality enhancements, compliance tasks, and privacy controls.
Remove blockers—technical, process-related, or privacy-related—to maintain delivery flow. Coach teams to improve Agile maturity while maintaining compliance and governance expectations.
• Stakeholder Coordination & Communication
Serve as a central point of coordination between business stakeholders, product owners, technical teams, and leadership. Facilitate project meetings, status reviews, and decision forums, ensuring clear, consistent communication of progress, risks, dependencies, and impacts.
• Scope, Schedule & Risk Management
Monitor project scope, schedule, and risk by tracking progress against approved plans and identifying variances. Document, manage, and escalate risks, issues, assumptions, and change requests in accordance with established project governance and escalation protocols.
• Financial & Resource Management
Track and manage project budgets, forecasts, and resource allocations to ensure alignment with approved funding and staffing plans. Support financial reporting, cost monitoring, and resource planning activities in coordination with leadership and finance partners.
• Delivery Governance & Quality Assurance
Ensure project deliverables meet defined acceptance criteria, quality standards, and governance requirements by supporting review, validation, and approval processes. Maintain accurate and complete project documentation in accordance with organizational, audit, and compliance standards.
• Operational Transition & Continuous Improvement
Support the transition of completed initiatives into operational teams by coordinating knowledge transfer, documentation, and handoff activities. Capture lessons learned and identify opportunities to improve project delivery practices, tools, and processes.
• Data & AI/Advanced Analytics Project Management
Lead end-to-end planning and delivery of data pipelines, modeling efforts, analytics solutions, dashboards, and data modernization initiatives.
Coordinate cross-functional work across data engineering, BI, data governance, QA, product, and business groups. Ensure strong data governance practices—including metadata accuracy, documentation, lineage, and quality controls—are embedded throughout all projects. Manage dependencies across systems and teams to ensure data solutions integrate cleanly and securely.
WHAT’S NEEDED
Minimum Educational Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
Minimum Experience
• 7+ years of experience managing projects in technology, data, or digital platform environments that enable large-scale enterprise applications and data platforms.
• Demonstrated experience managing cross-functional teams and delivering projects using structured project management methodologies
Other Job-Specific Skills
• Knowledge of project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid).
• Experience w/project tracking & reporting tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Clarity, or similar).
• Strong organizational, risk management, and issue resolution skills.
• Ability to manage multiple initiatives with competing priorities.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills suitable for executive and technical audiences.
