Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Research Project Manager IV to join our team on an onsite contract basis in Redmond, Washington. The role involves driving spatial audio capture research projects for Reality Labs Research Audio. The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, tracking, reporting, and providing procurement support for researchers and engineers. The ideal candidate will have 3-5+ years of experience in research project management, a proven track record of successful project completion, and strong interpersonal and communication skills. This position requires a proactive individual with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and collaborate effectively across teams.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, track, and report on spatial audio capture research projects.
• Provide procurement support for researchers and engineers.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with team members and individuals throughout the organization.
• Ensure successful project completion within deadlines and budget constraints.
• Maintain strong organizational and time management practices.

• 3-5+ years of experience in research project management with a proven track record of successful project completion.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with attention to detail.
• Proactive and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Computer Science, (Audio) Engineering, Acoustics, Physics, or a related field.
• Experience working in a fast-paced research and/or product development environment.
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Matlab, Python, C++, Max/MSP, or similar.
• Experience with spatial audio, binaural audio, and audio signal processing.
• Experience with user experience studies.

Pay Range: $80- $85/hr on W2

The specific compensation for this position will be determined by several factors, including the scope, complexity, and location of the role, as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials, and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
