CLM Implementation Project Manager Location: San Jose, CA
Duration: Approximately 6-month W2 assignment
Pay: $74-76 / HR
Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to support the implementation of a new Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) platform across Procurement, Legal, Finance, and other business functions.
This individual will work closely with the Senior Manager of Supply Chain Programs and serve as a key day-to-day partner responsible for program governance, systems integrator (SI) coordination, milestone tracking, executive reporting, testing, and go-live readiness.
The ideal candidate has experience managing enterprise software implementations, working with external systems integrators, and driving complex cross-functional programs involving multiple business and technical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain the master project plan, milestones, dependencies, action items, and RAID log across multiple workstreams.
- Establish and maintain a clear, accurate source of truth for overall program status.
- Facilitate daily standups, weekly project meetings, working sessions, and steering committee meetings.
- Prepare agendas, document decisions and action items, and drive owners to timely completion.
- Monitor systems integrator deliverables against the SOW, project milestones, and acceptance criteria.
- Track budget utilization, change requests, scope changes, and project risks.
- Coordinate dependencies between the SI and internal teams including IT, Security, Legal, Procurement, Finance, and Supply Chain.
- Develop executive status reports, steering committee presentations, dashboards, and other program collateral.
- Communicate project health, risks, decisions, and recommendations clearly to leadership.
- Coordinate SIT, UAT, data migration validation, defect resolution, and testing milestones.
- Support go-live readiness, cutover planning, and post-launch activities.
- Track training, change readiness, adoption metrics, and stakeholder engagement.
- Drive accountability across teams and escalate risks or delays when necessary.
Required Qualifications- 5+ years of project management experience.
- Experience supporting at least one enterprise software implementation.
- Experience managing or partnering with an external systems integrator (SI).
- Strong experience with project governance, RAID logs, milestone tracking, dependency management, and executive reporting.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex, cross-functional projects involving business and technical stakeholders.
- Experience preparing executive-level presentations and project status materials.
- Strong meeting facilitation and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to drive accountability and execution without direct authority.
- Proficiency with project management tools such as Smartsheet, MS Project, Jira, or similar platforms.
Preferred Qualifications- Experience implementing or supporting a Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) platform such as Icertis, Agiloft, Ironclad, or a comparable solution.
- Background in Procurement, Legal Operations, Supply Chain, or procurement technology.
- Familiarity with ERP integrations, e-signature platforms, supplier master data, and related enterprise systems.
- Experience with testing, UAT, data migration, cutover, and go-live activities.
- Change management experience or Prosci certification.
- PMP certification or equivalent project management credentials.
