Job Summary:
The Rural Health Transformation Program Uninsured Adult Healthcare Safety Net Project Manager will lead and manage statewide expansion efforts for new and existing Uninsured Adult Healthcare Safety Net providers under a fiveyear federal award through the Rural Health Transformation Program. This role is responsible for overseeing program planning, implementation, evaluation, and continuous improvement to strengthen access to care for uninsured adults, particularly in rural and underserved communities.
The Project Manager will coordinate strategic expansion activities, support providers in scaling services, ensure compliance with federal award requirements, and monitor program outcomes. This position will collaborate closely with internal leadership, external partners, healthcare providers, and community stakeholders to advance program goals, address system challenges, and enhance the statewide Safety Net infrastructure. Responsibilities include managing budgets, guiding data-driven decision-making, developing policies and procedures, and preparing required reports for federal and state partners.
This is a hybrid position requiring onsite attendance at least 1 2 days per month, with additional days as needed. Some instate travel is required. Candidates must reside in or be willing to relocate to Tennessee.
This position is funded by the Rural Health Transformation Program for the next 5 years.
