Job Title: Project Manager

Introduction

The Project Manager will lead the end-to-end migration of SAP systems from on-premise infrastructure to a cloud-based environment (SAP S/4HANA Cloud, RISE with SAP). The role is responsible for planning, execution, governance, vendor coordination, risk management, and delivery of successful migration and upgrade while ensuring minimal disruption to operations. This role leads cross-functional teams through SAP system upgrades and migrations while ensuring compliance with GxP, cGMP, data integrity, and validation requirements. The Project Manager will oversee all phases of the project lifecycle—from initiation and planning through execution, cutover, and post-go-live stabilization—ensuring project objectives are met on time, within scope, and within budget, while maintaining uninterrupted support for manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and finance operations.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 8–12 years of IT project management experience with large enterprise systems preferably in pharma, biotech, or other regulated industries.
  • Proven experience leading on-premise to cloud migrations, preferably SAP-focused.
  • Hands-on experience managing multi-vendor, multi-workstream programs.
  • Project Management certification preferred (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent).
  • Bachelor’s degree is required.
  • Prior work experience at client or in client's Industry.

Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of SAP landscapes and integration architecture.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS) and SAP cloud deployment models.
  • Familiarity with RISE with SAP, cloud hosting models/environments is a strong plus.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Lead the full lifecycle of SAP cloud migration initiatives, including planning, design, build, test, cutover, and post-go-live stabilization by closely working with service providers/technical leads.
  • Develop and manage integrated project plans across infrastructure, application, data, security, and business workstreams.
  • Drive execution across all SAP workstreams, including Finance (FI/CO), Supply Chain (MM/PP/SD), Manufacturing (PP PI), Quality (QM), Warehouse (WM/EWM), and Interfaces.
