Job Description

Project ManagerOur client is a reputable and growing Commercial General Contractor with a strong presence throughout Long Island and the greater New York market. With expertise spanning commercial, industrial, healthcare, retail, educational, and mixed-use projects, they have built a reputation for delivering quality construction solutions, maintaining long-standing client relationships, and fostering a collaborative and employee-focused culture.Job DescriptionManage construction projects from pre-construction through final completion.Develop, monitor, and maintain project schedules, budgets, and forecasts.Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and internal project teams.Lead project meetings with clients, architects, engineers, and stakeholders.Manage RFIs, submittals, contracts, change orders, and project documentation.Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, quality standards, and contractual requirements.Oversee project cost controls and identify opportunities to improve project performance.Work closely with field teams and Superintendents to drive successful project execution.Provide regular progress reports to clients and senior management.Support project closeout activities, including punch lists, commissioning, and turnover.The Successful ApplicantA successful Project Manager should have:5+ years of Project Management experience with a General Contractor.Proven track record managing commercial construction projects from inception through completion.Strong understanding of construction means and methods, scheduling, budgeting, and estimating.Experience managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.Knowledge of contracts, subcontractor management, and project controls.Excellent communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills.Proficiency in Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Office.Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred.Experience working on projects throughout Long Island and the New York market is highly desirable.What's on OfferComprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage.401(k) with company match.Vehicle allowance and business expenses reimbursement.Strong pipeline of upcoming projects across Long Island.Clear opportunities for career progression into Senior Project Management and leadership roles.Supportive company culture with access to professional development and training programs.Generous PTO package and paid holidays.
