Major/Essential Functions

  • Coordinating project activities, maintaining project documentation, assisting with process improvement efforts, and supporting customer service operations.
  • Work collaboratively with project managers, departmental staff, leadership, vendors, and stakeholders to help ensure projects are organized, tracked, and completed efficiently.
  • Assisting with scheduling, communication, project coordination, financial tracking, and maintaining effective workflows to support departmental goals and operational needs.
  • Provides in-house project management services for Facilities department for new facilities, renovation projects, adaptations & modernizations, and liaison work on Capital Projects.
  • Consults with clients to determine project requirements, scope, program and prepare information regarding specifications, design, schedule, estimated costs and related.
  • Prepares specifications for bid or proposal packages and construction documents. Evaluates bids, proposals and submissions and provides recommendations. Administers construction contracts & agreements.
  • Serve as a liaison between departments, vendors, customers, and project teams to facilitate communication and project progress.

  • Experience providing project coordination or administrative support in a professional, healthcare, higher education, or facilities-related environment.
  • Experience managing schedules, records, reports, or project documentation.
  • Experience utilizing database systems, work order systems, or project tracking software.
  • Experience with standard office procedures, customer service practices, and administrative operations.
  • Experience supporting multiple projects, departments, or supervisors simultaneously.
  • Experience communicating with internal and external stakeholders in a professional environment.

Pay Statement

Compensation is commensurate upon the qualifications of the individual selected and budgetary guidelines of the hiring department, as well as the institutional pay plan. For additional information, please reference the institutional pay plan website at https://app4.ttuhsc.edu/payplan.

Occasional Duties

  • Coordinate meetings with end users, prepare agendas, and document action items and follow-up tasks.

Visa Information

TTUHSC, at its sole discretion, may initiate new H-1B I-129 visa petitions in accordance with the directive issued by Governor Abbott. Approval from the Texas Workforce Commission is required.
