We are in search of a Project Manager (Manufacturing) in Spartanburg, SC.
Work directly with Sales, Engineering, Production, and Customers to maintain project schedules, ensure compliance with specifications, and coordinate field service.
Essential Job Functions
Monitor and facilitate project progression from order intake to commissioning 60%
Run communications with external customers and internal production teams 10%
Monitor project budget and expenditures 10%
Participate in milestone project production meetings 10%
Spearhead final inspections and intermediate quality checks 10%
Skills & Experience Needed
Project management experience
Strong technical aptitude
Proficiency with spreadsheets (Microsoft Excel)
Strong customer service and communication skills
OEM equipment design/manufacturing experience preferred
Municipal or government contract experience a plus
Education & Minimum Requirements
Education Desired: Bachelor's Degree
Minimum Requirements: 5+ years managing projects, production programs, or technical teams
Job Details:
Interface with production team to review project requirements and schedules
Prepare and update reports for management using Microsoft Excel and Word
Prepare project schedules and checklists
Coordinate control/instrumentation requirements with electrical engineers
Coordinate mechanical requirements with mechanical engineers
Follow up with clients regarding project status and invoicing
General Requirements
Strong technical background in industrial machinery manufacturing
Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and drawings
Strong multitasking and prioritization skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word; AutoCAD or SolidWorks a plus
Ability to work independently and as part of the team
