We are partnering with a market-leading mechanical construction specialist delivering complex, large-scale projects across the United States. With a growing pipeline of mission-critical work, they are seeking an experienced Project Manager II to take ownership of key projects and drive successful delivery across mechanical scopes.

This company is based out of the Northwest Region of the United States and have been a leading mechanical contractor for nearly 50 years. This firm has nation wide projects underway supporting mechanical scopes on large construction projects for healthcare, data center, infrastructure and several other commercial construction projects.
Description
The Project Manager II will report into Senior Project Leadership and take full responsibility for the successful delivery of mechanical construction projects from pre-construction through completion.
- Lead and manage one or multiple mechanical construction projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to quality standards
- Oversee project planning, scheduling, procurement, and cost management activities across HVAC, piping, and plumbing scopes
- Build and maintain strong relationships with general contractors, subcontractors, engineers, and clients
- Manage subcontractor buyout, change orders, RFIs, and submittals throughout the project lifecycle
- Drive safety culture, ensuring all site activities align with company and regulatory standards
- Monitor project financials, forecasting costs, managing budgets, and improving profitability
- Lead project teams, including foremen and coordinators, to optimise performance and meet delivery targets
Profile
For the Project Manager II role we are seeking:
- 8+ years' experience in mechanical or construction project management (HVAC, piping, or plumbing preferred)
- Proven track record delivering commercial or mission-critical construction projects (data centre experience advantageous)
- Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets, forecasting, and project profitability
- Ability to read and interpret construction documents, contracts, and technical specifications
- Experience using tools such as ACC Build, Bluebeam Revu, and MS Office
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across field and executive teams
- Highly organised, able to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Willingness to travel and be site-based depending on project requirements
Job Offer
- Salary: $95,000 - $135,000
- Travel package: $1,200 per week
- Relocation assistance: $15,000
- Auto allowance: $6,000 annually
