Project Manager (Mechanical)
GavinHeath is partnering with a client in the Garland, TX area looking to add a Project Manager to their team. The role is a Direct Hire position.

Responsibilities :
- Responsible for the overall planning, execution, and successful delivery of commercial and industrial construction projects, specifically overseeing our mechanical/structural scopes of work.
- Oversees all phases of a project, including budgeting, scheduling, procurement, resource allocation, subcontractor management, client relations, and project closeout activities.
- Accountable for ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards and contractual requirements.
- Serves as the primary liaison between field operations, company leadership, and customers, ensuring successful project outcomes and customer satisfaction.
- Oversee large scale commercial & industrial construction projects from set up to close out related to the data center, power generation, renewables, mining, and oil & gas construction industries.
- Responsible for recruiting, managing and leading teams of employees, including Assistant Project Managers, Project Engineers, and Project Coordinators.
- Supervises the daily work of employees.
- Verifies conformance of finished work product, including overseeing compliance with all contract requirements.
- Responsible for ensuring all safety and environmental requirements are met.
- Coordination of all labor, equipment, and subcontractor resources with Project subordinates to ensure timely, cost-effective completion of project.
- Assures all employees within the team know and follow the company safety and work rules and policies.
- Engineering or Construction Management Degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience managing industrial or commercial construction projects.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Project Manager in the Mechanical field.
- Strong leadership, effective communication, financial management
- Ability to proactively identify and resolve project challenges while maintaining positive relationships with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and project teams.
- Preferred:
- Experience with HCSS Heavy Job or similar job costing program.
- Experience with P6 or similar scheduling software.
- Experience with Viewpoint or similar account software.
- Experience with Heavy Bid or similar estimating software.
- Proficient with all Microsoft Office products.
- Completion of OSHA or equivalent safety training.
- Ability to travel.
- Driver's license with a clean driving record.
