Overview

ABM is seeking an experienced Mechanical Electrical Plumbing (MAP) Project Manager to support semiconductor manufacturing facilities through high‑impact maintenance, infrastructure upgrades, and reliability‑focused projects. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with strong electrical, plumbing, and HVAC expertise who understands the operational demands of cleanroom and mission‑critical environments.

In this role, you’ll partner closely with clients and ABM operations teams to ensure facilities remain safe, compliant, and fully operational—supporting continuous production and long‑term asset performance

 

Pay:  $110K+ annually

The pay listed is the starting salary range for this position.  A specific offer will vary based on applicant’s experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.

Responsibilities

  • · Lead facilities‑focused MEP projects and within semiconductor fabs, cleanrooms, and support buildings
  • · Manage upgrades, repairs, and lifecycle projects for electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and critical utility systems
  • · Plan and execute work in live production environments, minimizing risk to tools, processes, and operations
  • · Coordinate with ABM site operations, engineering teams, subcontractors, and client stakeholders
  • · Develop project scopes, schedules, cost estimates, and budgets aligned to client operational priorities
  • · Oversee subcontractor performance and ensure adherence to ABM safety, quality, and cleanroom protocols
  • · Review work plans, permits, RFIs, and change requests with a focus on safety and operational continuity
  • · Ensure compliance with applicable codes, safety regulations, environmental requirements, and client standards
  • · Conduct site inspections to verify workmanship, safety compliance, and system performance
  • · Support documentation, reporting, and turnover for completed maintenance and infrastructure projects
  • · Individual contributor

Qualifications

What You Bring

  • · 10+ years of experience in facilities engineering, maintenance, or project management
  • · Bachelor’s degree (e.g., Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, etc.) or equivalent experience.
  • · Strong technical expertise in electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems
  • · Experience supporting mission‑critical or high‑tech manufacturing environments
  • · Solid understanding of facilities operations, asset lifecycle management, and reliability concepts
  • · Proven ability to work safely in cleanroom and live production settings
  • · Strong leadership, communication, and client‑facing skills
  • · Commitment to safety and a working knowledge of OSHA safety standards and regulations
  • · Ability to adjust work schedule as needed to support the operation.
  • · Solid business acumen and basic accounting principles.
  • · Passion for excellence backed by a track record of accountability, collaboration, and integrity

Preferred Experience

  • · Experience supporting semiconductor manufacturing or advanced technology facilities
  • · Familiarity with critical utilities, high‑purity systems, exhaust systems, or specialty process support
  • · Experience managing maintenance‑driven projects rather than new construction
  • · Background working in environments where uptime, contamination control, and safety are paramount
