Project Manager

Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Project Engineer / Project Manager to support construction projects from pre-construction through closeout, with in the concrete industry. This role focuses on planning, coordination, cost control, and ensuring successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities

Pre-Construction

• Lead project handoff and review scope, plans, and specifications
• Identify issues, create RFIs, and recommend value engineering solutions
• Manage submittals, including review of rebar, mix designs, and shop drawings
• Develop schedules, material plans, and pour sequences
• Coordinate with Superintendent on equipment, logistics, and timelines

Project Execution

• Attend project meetings and track progress
• Monitor labor, budget, and schedule performance
• Manage change orders and coordinate with estimating
• Communicate with clients regarding updates, delays, and issues

Closeout

• Analyze project performance and identify lessons learned
• Prepare final reports and secure client sign-off
• Archive project documentation

Qualifications

• Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent experience
• Must have experience in the concrete industry
• Experience in construction project coordination or management
• Strong knowledge of drawings, scheduling, and cost control
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
