Project Manager

IDR is seeking a Project Manager to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Minnetonka, MN. This role offers the chance to oversee the planning, execution, and successful completion of diverse projects within a manufacturing environment, working closely with cross-functional teams to meet strategic objectives. Position Overview for the Project Manager:

• Manage the details of assigned project plans, including project management, configuration, testing, and go-live support under the leadership of the Project Management Office (PMO).
• Work closely with business and project leaders to assess and track activities and resources required for project success.
• Develop, monitor, and communicate project progress using various solutions to ensure projects are on time, on budget, and within scope.
• Lead all phases of project management activities, including scope, requirements, technical development, testing, validation, communication, risk, and resource management.
• Provide training and support to project participants and business partners regarding project tools and methodologies.

Requirements for the Project Manager:

• Bachelor’s Degree (Master’s Degree, MBA preferred) in Manufacturing, Engineering, Industrial Psychology, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum four years of related experience in manufacturing or a similar environment
• Proven experience leading multiple cross-functional project teams with results-oriented outcomes
• Proficiency with project management software and MS Office applications
• PMP or formal project management training; Six Sigma or Lean Sigma certification strongly preferred
